About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and/or delivery access points to help support authorized access and report unusual or unauthorized activity to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting security-related concerns, equipment issues, and/or maintenance needs.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation, and communicate clearly with supervisors, client representatives, and/or team members regarding daily operations and security-related observations.
