About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, processing visitors and deliveries, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the location, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting orderly flow at gates, docks, and other controlled areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, access concerns, and/or maintenance issues and reporting them through appropriate channels.
