As a Security Officer - Access Control in Mc Intyre, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support site personnel and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial chemical processing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support site access control procedures for employees, contractors, and/or deliveries.
  • Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, status updates, and ongoing security-related concerns.
