As a Security Officer Access Control Agent in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, screening visitors, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at a government location.
  • Help to control access to restricted areas by checking identification, authorizations, deliveries, and visitor logs while communicating clearly with staff and guests.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to post procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to identify suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related issues.
  • Support Allied Universal and site personnel with documentation, incident reports, and emergency response activities as appropriate for the assignment.
