About The Position

As a Security Officer Emergency Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, designated work areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or maintenance issues for follow-up.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, assisting with directions and general questions, and following Allied Universal post instructions and reporting procedures.
