As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s Driver Policy. Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Have access control and badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned systems; verify credentials and follow established procedures for visitor management and restricted-area access.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
