As a Security Officer Credential Check in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas through attentive access control practices.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Support reception and visitor management functions by assisting with sign-in procedures, badge issuance, and directional assistance while maintaining professional interactions and following site access protocols.
