About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Three Rivers, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential checks, and/or entry documentation for a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for personnel, contractors, and/or deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, equipment concerns, and/or security-related issues based on site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities and follow post orders, reporting protocols, and client-directed procedures while maintaining accurate activity and incident records.
