Requirements

  • 2 or more years of security-related experience are required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening protocols, and/or security-related response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access control issues, and other security-related concerns.
  • Support lobby and reception area operations by assisting with directions, answering basic questions, and maintaining awareness of site-specific procedures and restricted areas.
