About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Representative in Trinity, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor site activity, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication, attention to detail, and visible presence, while working with a team that values reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, badge systems, and/or visitor logs to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and follow site-specific security-related policies and protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting conditions and reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation related to access activity, deliveries, contractor visits, and other security-related events in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
