Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.
Perform regular and random patrols of the premises, including the perimeter, to identify and report any security-related concerns or unusual activities.
Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees and visitors while maintaining security-related protocols.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out security-related tasks and/or responding to emergency situations.
