About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Access Control Driver to serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage production location in Saint Pauls, North Carolina. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, monitoring entry points, verifying credentials and visitor authorizations, managing access, responding to alarms and incidents, maintaining logs, and conducting patrols. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The scheduled shifts are Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $13.39 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for this driving position.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and manage entry and exit points; verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before granting access.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and shipment logs in accordance with site requirements and security protocols.
Respond calmly to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
