About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Honolulu, Hawaii, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, and provide customer service to tenants and visitors. The role involves remaining visible, communicating professionally, addressing security-related concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is full-time and pays $23.40 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, tenants, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials as directed by site policy.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
