You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and communicate professionally to help deter incidents. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, contractors, delivery personnel, and other visitors in accordance with community procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community access points, common areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
