Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor check-in practices at an industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, confirm credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, production spaces, and other key locations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records related to visitors, contractors, deliveries, and other daily security-related activity.
