As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Lewisburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine rounds, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering service with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and a caring, innovative approach at Allied Universal.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity in accordance with property protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Support lobby and access point operations by assisting with visitor check-in, directing guests, and helping to deter unauthorized entry through consistent security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
