As a Security Officer - Access Authorization Construction Manufacturing in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to supervisors, building contacts, and/or first responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to identify unusual conditions, report security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Support employees, guests, and contractors with directions, check-in procedures, and policy questions while maintaining accurate records, clear communication, and a professional presence.
