About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a smooth flow of people and vehicles. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor access points, visitor logs, badges, and deliveries to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying site post orders and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to security-related concerns.
• Support security-related operations by documenting daily activity, completing incident reports, and communicating clearly with site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency responders when needed.
