As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily site operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying the appropriate site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols for a highly regulated industrial location.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or policy violations through detailed reports and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
