Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, visitor traffic, and/or building activity in accordance with site procedures, while assisting with directional support, policy awareness, and communication with property management when needed.
