Requirements
- Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
- Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Patrol hospital buildings and grounds by vehicle or foot to identify safety issues
- React to fire, smoke, and intrusion alarms and take appropriate actions
- Manage parking and vehicle movement according to policy
- Participate in searches for missing patients and operate closed-circuit television monitoring equipment when necessary
- Document incidents, maintain logs, and review communications at the start of each shift
- Check identification, assist visitors, and provide non-confidential information at the desk
