Requirements

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• Experience providing controlled access to secure or restricted areas
• Experience verifying credentials, licenses and authorizations
• Experience in documenting and maintaining security logs or reports
• Experience working with or around horses

Responsibilities

• Check individuals entering the Detention Barn and verify that each person is properly licensed
• Prevent unauthorized entry and ensure the facility remains secure at all times
• Ensure samples are locked and assist veterinary staff with end-of-day procedures
• Tag designated horses in the paddock area for testing in the Detention Barn
• Inform veterinary and livestock staff of claimed horses selected for testing so proper paperwork can be completed
• Perform additional duties when staffing shortages occur to maintain daily operations
