Replay - Security Lead
About The Position
Replay is seeking a Security Lead to build and own the company-wide security program from scratch. This role will cover cloud security, application security, data governance, and people security. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual contributor who can write code and review architecture. This is the first dedicated security hire for Replay, a company that provides the primary source of real, de-identified enterprise data for frontier AI labs. Replay has a multi-eight-figure run rate and is based in Dumbo, Brooklyn, with a team of 14 people and has raised $5.5M from investors like Floodgate and Afore.
Requirements
- 5+ years as a security engineer or software engineer
- Hands-on individual contributor: writes code, reviews architecture
- Experience with AWS, SOC 2, IAM, Cloud Security, AppSec, AI/ML Security, Secrets Management, SIEM, IaC
Responsibilities
- Build and own the company-wide security program from scratch (cloud, appsec, data governance, people)
- Implement access controls, JIT permissions, and data governance for sensitive customer data
- Lead SOC 2 end-to-end with an existing vendor
- Threat-model product, pipelines, and AI workflows and build technical controls
- Establish secure defaults and tooling for engineering
