About The Position

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Security Professional to join its Government Compliance Security Group in Golden Valley, Minnesota. The role supports Honeywell’s government security compliance program and helps ensure that classified information, personnel, facilities, systems, and operations meet U.S. government security requirements. The position involves acting as Facility Security Officer or Alternate FSO and Insider Threat Program Senior Official, coordinating with corporate functions, business units, and government security agencies, and overseeing clearance administration, training, and program inspections. The position is suited to someone with experience in U.S. government industrial security programs, FSO work, and/or COMSEC. The role requires at least five years of industrial security experience, the ability to access federal environments or protected federal data, and an active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one. The successful candidate must provide documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hire; the posting also states that U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in industrial security.
Ability to access federal environments and/or protected federal data.
Must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hire.

Deep knowledge of Insider Threat programs and risks.
Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with experience briefing leadership and government officials.

Responsibilities

Support tactical operations of Honeywell’s government security compliance program and partner with functions and leadership to ensure compliance with U.S. government security requirements.
Act as Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Alternate FSO, administering and overseeing employee government security clearances and meeting security requirements at Honeywell sites.
Act as Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), establish procedures to monitor risks, and provide specialized training.
Partner with corporate functions and strategic business units to manage and safeguard classified-related operations.
Develop, deploy, and manage U.S. government-required training.
Implement initial security orientation for all employees and annual refresher training, including insider threat awareness and FOCI mitigation.
Perform annual self-inspections, evaluate program effectiveness, and correct deficiencies.
