About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring an unarmed Security Highrise Shift Supervisor. The role supervises and coordinates quality service delivery during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. They supervise staff on the shift and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment limits.

The position pays $24.35 per hour. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test. A driving-record check may also be required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Must have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Must be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Must have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver-record check may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• For driving positions: must have a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record as specified in the posting, insurance meeting Company policy, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site.

• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment limits.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
