About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location in Oxon Hill, Maryland, you will help safeguard guests, staff, and property. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, support access control, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role pays $19.67 per hour and follows a schedule of Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badges.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel and resort grounds, guest areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; identify unusual activity and report concerns.
Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report unauthorized entry or policy violations.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate with site management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership about incidents and daily activities.
