As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Alarm Panel Response in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and team members. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of guest areas, lobby spaces, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe hotel activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
