About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting patrols, responding to concerns, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position pays $17.75 per hour and is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, taking part in emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site-specific escalation procedures, and document observations.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
