About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and professional Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in a healthcare setting. This vital role ensures a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff, while providing excellent customer service and swift response in critical situations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, public safety, or related field
- Working knowledge of security systems, patrol procedures, and emergency protocols
- Strong interpersonal, observation, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and take appropriate action in emergencies
- Familiarity with public safety, building safety codes, and visitor screening practices
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of facility interiors and exteriors
- Enforce security rules, regulations, and safety procedures
- Provide assistance and information to patients, visitors, and staff
- Monitor and manage parking areas for staff and visitors
- Sort and deliver internal mail, packages, and confidential items
- Assist with emergency evacuations and fire drills
- Secure facility during closure and manage access to restricted areas
- Document incidents and support investigations as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
