As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving role offers the opportunity to communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with adherence to site entry and property-control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and emergency personnel as needed.
