About The Position
Works under general supervision in maintaining a safe and secure environment in and around the Hospital. Performs duties ranging from daily clock patrols to assisting wheelchair patients and visitors in and out of their vehicles. Guards also responsible for answering calls for assistance from various departments within the Hospital, as well as from the general public.
Requirements
- Must have current arrest powers for the State of Indiana.
- Must have current license to carry firearms.
- Must be able to maintain firearm qualifications.
- Must take annual law enforcement training to maintain certifications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment in and around the Hospital.
- Perform daily clock patrols.
- Assist wheelchair patients and visitors in and out of their vehicles.
- Answer calls for assistance from various departments within the Hospital and from the general public.
