About The Position

Fresh Mark in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for a Security Guard to support the safety and security of our USDA-inspected manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure workplace. Multiple shifts are available.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive situations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to accurately complete reports, logs, and inspection documentation.
Ability to follow established procedures, policies, and requirements.
Basic computer skills, including data entry and email communication.
Must be trustworthy and able to pass a background check.
Valid driver's license required.
Availability to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Patrol facility grounds and parking lots to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of personnel, property, and company assets.
Monitor facility entrances and exits, verifying identification and authorizing access for employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors.
Conduct truck and trailer inspections, including verifying trailer numbers, seals, and required documentation upon arrival and departure.
Inspect parked trailers and company property for security concerns, unauthorized access, or signs of tampering.
Monitor security systems, cameras, alarms, and access control equipment and report malfunctions or security breaches.
Maintain accurate logs and written reports documenting daily activities, visitor registrations, trailer inspections, incidents, and security concerns.
Enforce company security, safety, and visitor policies and report violations to management.
Answer incoming calls, answer questions, and route calls appropriately.
Support emergency response procedures, including evacuation, severe weather, fire, and medical emergencies.
