About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol security guard for a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California. The role serves and safeguards clients while supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The guard provides customer service, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responds to security-related concerns with integrity. The posted pay rate is $27.90 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Identify and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and communicate site procedures to guests and vendors.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications.
Maintain a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity.
