About The Position

As a Security Guard High Rise in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding professionally to security-related concerns while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property representatives by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, contact appropriate personnel, and document actions taken.
Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs accurately, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel and property representatives.
