About The Position

Valcor Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a residential high-rise building in Downtown Los Angeles. This is a single-officer post requiring someone who can work independently and maintain the post without on-site supervision. Officers patrol the property on a set schedule, control access, inspect property conditions, respond to activity according to post orders, and complete reports. The position pays $19.00 per hour and is performed in person. Officers receive training on the post before working it alone.

Requirements

• Active California BSIS Guard Card.
• Reliable transportation and on-time attendance.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol outdoors in any weather.
• Working smartphone.
• Clear spoken and written English.

• Security, military, or law-enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the property on a set schedule and document every round in the Belfry app.
• Control access and verify residents, employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Check gates, doors, lighting, and parking, and report hazards.
• Report trespassers and suspicious activity, and respond according to the post orders.
• Write clear daily activity and incident reports.
• Maintain a professional, alert, and visible presence for the full shift.
• Work independently and hold a single-officer post without on-site supervision.
