About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Security Guard for a concierge post. The role emphasizes customer service and building connections with visitors in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The officer welcomes and assists visitors, manages access, patrols the property, responds to incidents, and helps protect people and property. Multiple shifts are available, with no overnight shifts. Prior security experience is not required; prior badging experience is a plus. Uniforms are provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.
• Be able to walk and/or stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Prior badging experience.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Create badges for customer employees, vendors, and guests.
• Use a computer to type and learn new programs.
