About The Position

The Construction Security Guard protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. The role also serves as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols. The position is full-time and located at client sites in East Wenatchee, Washington. Multiple shifts are available with a flexible schedule. The posted wage is $23.00 per hour, and no prior experience is necessary.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Must be able to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.

Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Perform access control at security entrances and exits.
Conduct regular patrols of premises, including buildings, parking lots, and entry points, to identify potential security risks.
