About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard for weekend work. The role serves and safeguards clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The position pays $17.75 per hour. A driver's license is required for driving positions only; licensing requirements may also apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• For this opening, have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
