About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Enhanced Armed Patrol Driver for an assigned retail grocery location in Bryan, Texas. The position pays $17.25 per hour and has a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The listed shift is Thursday, 12:00 PM–11:30 PM. Additional shifts may be claimed through the scheduling platform, allowing hours to vary and potentially increase to as many as 40 per week, with the option to scale back. The role provides security services, armed patrols, incident response, and accurate reporting while following site procedures and armed post requirements.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, coordinating with store leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and customer and employee activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities while maintaining a professional presence and following armed post requirements.
