About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients at a hospital in Columbus, Ohio. In this screener role, you will help maintain a welcoming campus environment by screening individuals and belongings, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support orderly operations. The position pays $19.75 per hour and is scheduled for daytime shifts on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The role involves carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
