About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The position involves customer service, carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting patrols. Overnight shifts are available across all days of the week. The listed pay rate is $22.75 per hour. Applicants must have all training certificates and an active California guard card.

Requirements

• Have all required training certificates and an active California guard card.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
