About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Flex Multi Site Patrol in Forest, Mississippi. The Security Professional Branch Flex Officer safeguards clients across a variety of industries and works at different sites and assignments. The role offers hands-on experience and exposure to diverse work environments, with opportunities for career growth and advancement.

The position involves 8–40 hours per week. Weekly schedules vary based on manager-assigned shifts and shifts claimed through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift self-scheduling program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments change regularly, and the role may require irregular shifts with little to no advance notice. Employees must be able to travel the required distance for branch flex assignments.

The pay rate is $15.58 per hour. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local laws and regulations. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Ability to travel the required distance for branch flex assignments.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Arabic.
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call the police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property complies with client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, and maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
