Requirements

Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Valid security license.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable transportation.
Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.
Good vision and ability to stay focused and alert for extended periods.
Comfortable using technology and security-related tools/systems.

Nice To Haves

First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities

Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
Document events and incidents by writing detailed reports
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
Control access to secured areas and verify visitor identification
Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or potential malfunctions
Collaborate with law enforcement in the event of a serious situation or emergency
Remain available and flexible to work on-call assignments, sometimes with minimal notice
Be available for a variety of shifts, including daytime and overnight coverage
