About The Position

Allegiance Security is hiring two dependable, professional Security Officers for Spartanburg School District 6. Officers are assigned to monitor student restrooms during the school day and maintain a visible security presence. This is an Observe and Report role: officers do not discipline students or physically intervene in student-related incidents, but promptly communicate concerns to designated school personnel by two-way radio. The position operates only while school is in session and follows the District’s school and holiday calendar. Officers are paid for actual hours worked; this is not a guaranteed 40-hour-per-week or year-round position. Hours may vary with the school calendar, early dismissals, closures, and other schedule changes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background screening and drug screening.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and follow rules, instructions, and lawful orders.
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a Guard License.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned student restrooms throughout the school day.
• Help prevent students from loitering or congregating in restrooms between classes.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence in assigned restroom areas.
• Observe and report inappropriate, suspicious, or unauthorized activity.
• Immediately notify designated school staff of issues using a two-way radio.
• Complete incident or activity reports as required.
• Detect building safety hazards, communicate them to appropriate staff, and follow mandated safety requirements.
