This position is targeted to meet the specific operational needs of the College. This position will serve as an on-call employee to support the needs of the institution, and may be assigned to the Main Campus, the Technology Center, or the Pines Opportunity Center (Morgan County Campus). This position will be responsible for conducting unarmed foot and vehicular patrols, and shall conduct regular interior and exterior rounds to ensure all locks and means of access are secured. The incumbent must be customer service oriented, thus communicating effectively with the public and staff is required. If hired for this position, one must be capable of preparing legible incident reports, clearly and concisely documenting all unusual or suspicious activities occurring on campus during their assigned shift. This position is also responsible for reporting crimes or suspicious persons to local law enforcement authorities. This is a Casual position as designated by the state of WV and is not permitted to work more than 450 hours in a 12-month period. The days and shift times during which the incumbent may be expected to work varies. There are special shifts at various times that may be required based upon business needs.
