About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Officer in Ronkonkoma, New York. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., for 20 hours per week, and pays $17.70 per hour. The officer monitors security systems and screens to identify threats and suspicious activity in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The role also involves documenting events, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, controlling access, and helping protect people and property.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a New York State security license.
