About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Premier Residential Rover in Greenwich, Connecticut. The role offers a fixed, designated site and weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Additional shifts can provide opportunities to increase earnings and work toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the ability to scale back. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Commit to the designated site and weekly anchor shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and document security-related activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage production, storage, shipping, receiving, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site-specific procedures, and help deter unauthorized entry.
• Report hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
