Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, trailer, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
Document patrol observations, incidents, access-related activities, and other security-related information in clear and accurate reports.
