As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for occupants and visitors and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
