Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facility buildings, access points, parking areas, production spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
